Oracle Database Express Edition(XE) useful for Small Business

Oracle Database Express Edition(XE) is FREE even for commercial use. XE is a very good replacement for Microsoft Access, a popular database for personal and small businesses. As I was evaluating XE, I saw that this will definitely compete with MS Access.

For small businesses, this can be used for small applications such as Inventory Management, Customer databases, Accounting and other related uses. The database supports up to 4GB of data. In terms of records, that's around 30 million records in a simple schema. That's more than enough for small businesses who don't really that much data.

XE also comes with an Application builder to build simple applications that access data. You can use it for reports, forms, etc. You can see what I'm talking about in this demo:
